My services give you an opportunity to talk in the comfort and privacy of your own home. I allow time for you to be listened to and supported. The home environment is often more conducive to active learning. Babies or toddlers can be settled in their own beds.
1. Five Hour Home Day Stay
Features include:
- Observe baby's tired signs and explore sleep and settling techniques
- During the visit, your baby (depending on age) may be settled two or three times
- Discuss and outline sustainable strategies so you feel able to continue
- Reflect on pregnancy and birthing experiences if desired
- Explore issues
- Ask questions
The visit is VERY supportive.
The beauty of this service is to give parents an opportunity to talk in the comfort and privacy of their own home. It allows time for them to be listened to. Their own environment is often more conducive to active learning. Babies / toddlers can be settled in their own beds.
After the visit, three follow-up phone calls are held:
- Day after the home visit
- Day three or four after the home visit
- One month later to enable feedback, support and review of strategy
Cost:
$350 (Sunshine Coast - Caloundra to Noosa Heads)
$450 (Brisbane visits - south of Caloundra to Mt Gravatt)
2. One Hour Home Visit
Often, shorter visits are required:
- Breastfeeding support and guidance
- Help settle an older child
- Discuss behavioural management strategies
Cost: $80 per hour (Sunshine Coast ONLY)
3. Phone Consultations
Cost: $50 (please email for further details)
